Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube confirmed to the media on Friday night why goaltender Matt Murray needed to be replaced before Game 3.
Matt Murray was replaced with
Dennis Hildeby in a pretty surprising turn of events. It felt like Murray would be the permanent backup with
Anthony Stolarz injured.
Moreover, Dennis Hildeby doesn't have any NHL Playoff experience which would be an issue if
Joseph Woll were to get injured.

Needless to say, the decision led to some speculation and some concern. However, after last night's loss, the Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube revealed what went down.
Essentially, Murray fell under the weather pretty early on in the evening and a change needed to be made as the goalie would not be ready to go.
Craig Berube said Matt Murray is sick, which is why Dennis Hildeby backed up Joseph Woll
The Leafs eventually lost the game in overtime but still lead the series 2-1. This is far from over, and fans knew it was going to be difficult.
Only time will tell whether or not the Leafs can finish out this series and if Matt Murray will have to get any playing time.
If one thing is for certain, it is that both the Leafs and the Panthers are putting on a show for the fans.
