Craig Berube was livid following Leon Draisaitl's controversial late goal
Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube was understandably upset last night near the conclusion of the team's match against the Edmonton Oilers.
Overall, last night's game was filled with ups and downs. Both teams traded goals and eventually, the match went into overtime.
However, prior to overtime, it was
Leon Draisaitl who ultimately scored the game-tying goal for the Oilers. It's a goal that proved to be controversial.
As you can see in the clip down below, goaltender
Anthony Stolarz had his stick knocked out of his hands by an Oilers player. This led to a belief that a goalie interference review should have taken place.
This led to a very loud and angered reaction from Berube, who was left yelling at the referee trying to get a call reversal. Of course, that never came.

In the end, it didn't matter so much as the Leafs were able to get the big win and improve their record to 11-6-2.
Having said that, the Leafs did take a loss in at least one area of the game. This was due to the suspension against
Ryan Reaves.
While some believe that this is a harsh punishment, there are others who think it is perfect given the fact that Reaves has faced four suspensions throughout his career.
As for Berube, his first season with the team continues to be especially interesting.
There has been some up-and-down play, but as it stands, the Maple Leafs are definitely on a roll that is worth being excited about.
Only time will tell whether or not they can sustain this play.
