Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander was questionable coming into tonight's game, and a new update from Craig Berube has been given to the media.
William Nylander suffered an injury on Friday night against the Buffalo Sabres and was forced to miss the following game on Saturday night.
Tonight, the Leafs are set to face off against the Calgary Flames, and there has been a debate about whether or not Nylander should play in this matchup.
Will William Nylander suit up against the Los Angeles Dodgers?
With the Maple Leafs holding a morning skate in Toronto, head coach Craig Berube received questions about Nylander's status going into this match.
According to Mark Masters of TSN, the forward has been ruled as a game-time decision. This means Nylander will take warm-ups, and only then will we know if he is good to go.
If he is good to go, you can expect him to play on the first line with
Auston Matthews and
Bobby McMann. If Nylander does not play, Nick Robertson will take that spot.
Blais has not been able to get into the lineup this season, and there is no doubt that the fans would love to see him get at least one start.
The entire lineup and the starting goalie situation have yet to be revealed. However, we imagine there will be updates on that very soon.
With a record of 4-4-1, the Maple Leafs are hoping to get above .500 with a win today. The Flames are struggling, so now is a good time to pounce.
