The fans want a Stanley Cup especially with the massive drought that the Maple Leafs have gone through over the last few decades.
Ken Hitchcock loves Craig Berube
While speaking to the Fan 590, legendary NHL head coach Ken Hitchcock spoke about Berube and what he has been able to accomplish over the years.
He was extremely complimentary of the head coach and explained why the Leafs are in good hands.
In fact, Hitchcock believes that Berube is a coach who will ensure playoff success for his team.
«I've known Craig for a long time. I had him on my team when he was 17 years old and playing Major Junior. And I would say right now, the one word I'd have for Craig is relentless. He's relentless in getting things done. He's relentless in making sure that it's done the right way. And he doesn't care who you are, where you came from, or what your involvement is. He wants it done a certain way, and everybody's got to be included in that.

Leafs fans would love for this to be the case but they should not get their hopes up just yet.
At the end of the day, you never know what kind of matchup you're going to get, and the Leafs will need something advantageous.
If they can win the Atlantic Division and play a Wild Card team, that will certainly help them out.
Hopefully, Craig Berube is able to overcome the curse that this franchise has gone through since 1967.
