Maple Leafs Forward Calle Jarnkrok Finally Gets A Positive Injury Update
Toronto Maple Leafs center Calle Jarnkrok has been out for the entire season with a lower-body injury and it seems as though fans have forgotten about his existence.
Calle Jarnkrok has been a solid player for the Toronto Maple Leafs, however, his injury issues this season have made it so that he has not played a single game.
Consequently, some fans are forgetting the fact that once Jarnkrok returns, they have a potential third-line center on their hands.
Could Calle Jarnkrok return to the Toronto Maple Leafs soon
During the latest episode of The Steve Dangle Podcast, co-host Adam Wylde made some interesting comments about Jarnkrok.
Essentially, he noted that while the forward will likely play wing, he could be a Center if the team absolutely needs him to be.
Moreover, Jesse Blake also made some interesting comments about Jarnkrok, claiming that the Center has been hanging around the team.
This is definitely good news and shows that the forward might be coming back decently soon.
For the Leafs, getting him around playoff time would be perfect, although before the trade deadline would be ideal.
That way, it would tell Brad Treliving whether or not he really does need to trade for a third-line Center or not.
Hopefully, things with Calle Jarnkrok continue to develop in a positive direction as he is a great guy for this team.
