Michael Pezzetta is a player who had zero points last season with the Montreal Canadiens; however, that did not deter the Leafs from signing him for two seasons.
Overall, the forward was brought in as an enforcer, and many believe he can take over the role left by Ryan Reaves.
Pezzetta was a life-long Maple Leafs fan before joining the team, and there is no doubt that he is excited about playing for his hometown franchise.

A good example of the forward's dedication came on Friday when he found himself at Development Camp, where some of the young guys are trying to get a spot on the roster.
While at Development Camp, Pezzetta was proudly wearing his Maple Leafs gear. Furthermore, he was signing autographs.
The forward is already a man of the people, and there is no doubt that the fanbase will love him going into next season.
Interestingly, he might not play every single game next season. He is a fourth-liner, and he will be used to fight and provide big hits.
There is no indication that he will have any sort of role beyond that. However, he is still going to be well-liked, and that is something to be happy about.
Overall, Pezzetta has a chance to really ingratiate himself with the franchise, and we believe he is going to do it.
Whether or not his style fits in with the Leafs' culture remains to be seen. Hopefully, he can do more than Reaves.
