Sidney Crosby Spotted in a Toronto Maple Leafs Jersey, But It's Not What You Think

Sidney Crosby is one of the best players in the history of hockey, and since 2005, he has been playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

However, the team is no longer a powerhouse. Instead, the team's general manager, Kyle Dubas, is interested in doing a rebuild, which would essentially spell the end of Crosby's Stanley Cup hopes.

That said, there has been lots of speculation about Crosby demanding a trade and going elsewhere to finish his career.

While most believe he would prefer to play for the Montreal Canadiens, some are trying to fantasize about him playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

In a new Twitter post from BarDown, Crosby was seen photoshopped with a Leafs jersey, and it is eliciting some very strong reactions.

As you can see down below, some believe that this is the prime example of Maple Leafs fans taking things too far and being downright delusional about their team.

Meanwhile, some Maple Leafs fans are hoping that this happens someday. After all, Crosby on the Leafs would make for a huge story.

Of course, it is very doubtful that this actually happens anytime soon. Instead, fans should just give up on this fiction.
