Toronto Maple Leafs Hit Massive Roadblock in Attempts to Trade Calle Jarnkrok

For weeks now, the Toronto Maple Leafs have been trying to trade forward Calle Jarnkrok, but it has not been the easiest task for general manager Brad Treliving.
Calle Jarnkrok is a player who went through some injury problems last season, although when he came back, he just wasn't what the Leafs needed him to be.
His playoff numbers were pretty abysmal, and as soon as the season came to an end, the narrative was that the Leafs needed to get rid of him as quickly as possible.
General Manager Brad Treliving agreed, and over the course of the past few months, he has been attempting to trade the forward.

David Kampf has also been on the trading block, but nothing has actually materialized. As a result, fans have been wondering if Jarnkrok will be dealt before the season starts.
A new report from the Fourth Period suggests there is no market for Jarnkrok right now. The Leafs still want to trade him, but it might be tough.
The market hasn't been vibrant, to this point, but the Leafs will continue to dangle him
Trading David Kampf might prove to be easier, but at this stage, both players are proving to be a hard sell, which is disappointing.
At the end of the day, Treliving just needs to keep grinding and chipping away at it. Worst case scenario, these players are bought out, or start the season on the roster.
Overall, the Maple Leafs have some holes to fill in the roster, and getting rid of some lower-tier guys would certainly give them more cap space to do that.
It will be a long road ahead, but Treliving seems to have a plan, and the fans will just have to trust him.
