Mitch Marner Delivers Expertly Crafted Non-Answer When Asked About Ottawa Senators Fans

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner was recently asked about the Ottawa Senators and their fans who are going through a rare playoff battle.
Mitch Marner is probably one of the most taunted players in the entire NHL and there is a good reason for that.
He is someone who has proven he can be shaken, especially during the NHL Playoffs. Ottawa Senators fans are aware of this and have attempted to rattle him whenever possible.
While Marner was solid during Games 3 and 4 in Ottawa, the fans were not nice. It's something he noticed and the media wanted to ask him about it.

However, in typical Marner fashion, he gave the media an answer that isn't exactly going to shake up the world or even get Senators fans riled up.
Instead, while speaking about the Senators faithful, he turned his answer into the type of thing that hockey players are mocked for. Talking about getting pucks in deep.
"You do hear it but, at the same time, you're focused on just playing ... & once you're on the ice you don't hear anything, you're just trying to figure out plays & talking to one another & seeing what you can do to try to capitalize on mistakes"
For Mitch Marner and the Toronto Maple Leafs, all that matters tonight is a big win in Game 5 against the Ottawa Senators.
A win would ultimately ensure that the Maple Leafs make it to the next round of the playoffs, but there is no telling what happens next.
The Senators will be coming into this game motivated, and it will be very telling how the Maple Leafs are able to respond here. If they don't get things going early, it could get out of hand.
As for Marner, the fans would love to see him score a goal or do something massive to get this team over the hump and into the next round.
