Former Toronto Maple Leafs winger Mitch Marner is setting himself up for a big season with the Las Vegas Golden Knights, and the NHL is taking notice of that.

Mitch Marner had a phenomenal season with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2024-25; however, he ultimately left the team for the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
Now, he is looking to prove all of his haters wrong, and fans are very interested to see what kind of season he is able to have.
With that said, the NHL is now ranking the best wingers in the entire league, and as you can imagine, Marner was a high-ranking member of the list.

Mitch Marner ranked above William Nylander

In fact, Marner is being ranked as the fifth-best winger in the NHL, which is certainly going to upset all of the Maple Leafs fans out there.
After leaving the Leafs this Summer, Marner is still haunting the team, while showing everyone that he is one of the best players in the league.
To make matters even worse, Marner was ranked one spot ahead of Maple Leafs star William Nylander. Of course, this will spark up some major debates.
Kirill Kaprizov, Mikko Rantanen, David Pastrnak, and Nikita Kucherov were all ranked higher than Mitch Marner on the list.
Last season, Marner was tenth on the list, so to maintain a position like this is actually pretty impressive, and even diehard Maple Leafs fans can admit that.
Overall, Mitch Marner will have pressure on him to perform this season, and the fans in Vegas will not accept poor results.
Whether or not Marner is able to handle it all, still remains to be seen.
