NHL 26 Trolls the Toronto Maple Leafs with Mitch Marner Segment in New Trailer

NHL 26 is dropping in a month from now, and with Mitch Marner on the Las Vegas Golden Knights, EA Sports is out here trolling the Toronto Maple Leafs.
If you are a gamer, then you are probably going to be buying NHL 26 when it finally comes out on September 12th. This is in just under a month from now, and the fans are very excited about it.
Having said that, Toronto Maple Leafs fans will be buying the game so that they can play with their favorite team. Albeit with a few changes.
Of course, Mitch Marner is no longer on the roster, which means if you want to play as him, you are going to have to use the Las Vegas Golden Knights.

In fact, it seems as though EA Sports is already taunting Maple Leafs fans about this, and they are doing so in the most troll-ish way possible.
Essentially, in their new reveal trailer today, there was a scene in which Marner could be seen playing for the Golden Knights, all while scoring on the Maple Leafs.
It is one of those nightmarish scenarios that you will be grateful to know isn't real life, at least not yet.
The Maple Leafs and the Golden Knights will play each other twice during the Month of February, and there is no doubt that there will be lots of fanfare around those games.
As for NHL 26, fans are hoping for a good iteration of the game that is immersive, and actually offers up something new.
All too often, these video games have proven to be a bit stale, and fans are ready for something that is actually going to shake up the industry.
Whether or not Marner becomes one of the most popular players to use, remains to be seen.
