The latest game in the series is NHL 26, and it is set to be released in the Fall, around the same time as FC 26. With that in mind, we are now getting some major information about the game.
NHL 26 cover athlete revealed
Today, it was revealed that the cover athlete for the game would be none other than Florida Panthers star
Matthew Tkachuk, who now has two Stanley Cups in a row.
Overall, he is a good cover athlete, but a controversial one nonetheless, as he isn't even a top 10 player in the entire NHL.
Regardless, this game will probably sell millions of copies around the world and for very good reason. It's a yearly sports game, and these always sell well.
Ultimately, a lot of Toronto Maple Leafs fans will be buying the game, and we're sure they're excited about playing as guys like
Auston Matthews and
William Nylander.
In fact, you can use the game to get your favorite team a Stanley Cup, something that may not come true in the real world.
Only time will tell whether or not this game will be a success, or a complete flop.
