I definitely think the Maple Leafs have their work to do here and I don't know what their timeline is but nobody expects them not to do things before the puck drops that's for sure.
There are reports that the Maple Leafs are looking to trade for a player like Bryan Rust, although there is no guarantee that something like that will go through.
Meanwhile, the Leafs also just signed Nick Robertson, and there are discussions about whether or not he will stick around for the long term.
Needless to say, the Maple Leafs have a lot to think about right now, and the next few weeks are going to be fascinating.
