Montreal Canadiens Fans Speak Up After Cayden Primeau's Horrific Leafs Performance

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Cayden Primeau was just abysmal against the Columbus Blue Jackets, and Montreal Canadiens fans are gloating.
Cayden Primeau got the start against the Columbus Blue Jackets last night, and based on how it went, it seems like he may never start for the Leafs again.
After 13 shots, he had allowed five goals. In the end, he finished by giving up six goals on 25 shots, which is just abysmal and not good enough at all.
If you are a Maple Leafs fan, you were probably pulling your hair out last night. Even if Primeau wasn't the only one to blame, it was still horrible to watch.
Montreal Canadiens fans know Cayden Primeau all too well
It was so bad that it had Montreal Canadiens fans chiming in. Habs fans know Primeau all too well, as he was the backup for the team last season.
He was not very good, and he eventually got replaced by Jakub Dobes before heading to the Carolina Hurricanes, who put him on waivers.
Below, you can see Habs fans gloating about Primeau, noting that the Leafs should have always seen something like this coming.
At the end of the day, the Toronto Maple Leafs need a whole lot better from their goaltending. Anthony Stolarz is included in that conversation as well.
It has been a huge struggle for the Maple Leafs this season, and if they cannot get it together, then a lot of fans are going to be upset.
Needless to say, Joseph Woll's return to the team will be huge for morale. They cannot move on from Primeau fast enough.
Only time will tell whether or not Primeau plays again, or finds himself with the Toronto Marlies, very soon.
