New Footage Shows Matthew Tkachuk Threatening to Injure William Nylander in Game 5

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi delivered a crushing hit on Aleksander Barkov at the end of Game 4 and he might get punished for it.

Immediately after the hit, there was a huge scrum on the ice between Leafs and Panthers players, with both sides jawing at each other on the bench.

The broadcast had the presence of mind to put the camera on Matthew Tkachuk, and they caught him delivering some threatening words to William Nylander.

Based on his physical gestures with his elbow, as well as some of the lip reading that went on it, it would appear as though Tkachuk wants to take Willy out of the next game.

Overall, this can be construed as a threat and that is something that should have absolutely no place in the game.

However, when you consider how Tkachuk has been running around in this series, none of this should be seen as surprising right now.

What the Maple Leafs should definitely be worried about right now is the fact that the Panthers have stormed back to tie the series at two games apiece.

While every single game has been close, the Leafs were terrible on offense last night. The only silver lining is that Joseph Woll was sensational.

Game 5 goes down in Toronto on Wednesday, and the Maple Leafs are going to have to deliver their best performance of the playoffs so far.

Otherwise, the Florida Panthers could take the lead in the series, which would be a disastrous turn of events or this Maple Leafs team that is looking to break numerous generational curses.
