NHL Analyst Floats Wild Conspiracy Theory Involving John Tavares & Concussion Spotter in Ottawa

Toronto Maple Leafs forward John Tavares was taken off of the ice by a concussion spotter on Saturday night in Ottawa and Nick Kypreos has some thoughts about it.
Subsequently, Tavares was taken out of the game by a concussion spotter and eventually, he returned to the bench. At that point, it was too little too late and the Leafs lost.
On Sportsnet 590 on Monday, Kypreos made the bold claim that there is something fishy going on with the concussion spotters. He says some players get called and others don't. Given the game was in Ottawa, the former NHL is a bit suspicious of what went down.
"It really bothers me when I continue to watch guys get pulled off for protocol and then I watch hits like that in other instances where the guy does not come off. I'm going 'alright, you're in a visiting building. I don't know who the doctors are is it easier to pull a visiting player off on protocol?'. Would
Brady Tkachuk have been pulled off if he took the same hit? Would he have missed an integral part of a game that could have knocked you out of the first round? I don't know. All I know is that, sometimes, they (spotters) disappear and sometimes they don't."
Now, the question is whether or not Tavares will be ready to go tonight for the all important Game 5.
Will John Tavares play in Game 5?
Well the answer to that question is yes, he will be ready to go. He was at practice on Monday and all signs point to him being just fine.
The Maple Leafs are certainly going to need him tonight as they try to win this series against the Senators once and for all.
If they do come through with the win, then the next game will be against either the Florida Panthers or the Tampa Bay Lightning. Although for now it seems like the Panthers are the most likely opponent.
Hopefully, John Tavares and the rest of the Leafs give the fans something to cheer about tonight.
