Toronto Maple Leafs Analyst Reveals the Plan for David Kampf and Calle Jarnkrok

It's no secret that the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to trade Calle Jarnkrok and David Kampf, although nothing has materialized this summer.
Unfortunately, as fourth-line players who don't provide grit or offense, they are extremely difficult to trade. It has created a scenario in which the Leafs may just have to waive them.
This would be a worst-case scenario, and there is no telling what the Leafs are going to do next. However, former enforcer and current analyst Jay Rosehill seems to have some answers.
What's next for Calle Jarnkrok and David Kampf?
During a segment on Leafs Morning Take, Rosehill made the argument that the Toronto Maple Leafs shouldn't waive the two forwards just yet. Instead, they should take a wait-and-see approach.
With training camp around the corner, Jarnkrok and Kampf will have an opportunity to show their stuff, and Rosehill believes this is when the Leafs will figure out what to do next.
You have to justify your position on an NHL roster...
Ultimately, this is a hard place for Treliving to be in, as you never want to have to waive guys for nothing, or worse, buy out their contracts.
These players are going to be next to impossible to trade. Some teams might be reluctant to even give up a seventh-round pick.
Regardless, Treliving has a tough job to do, and we are not envious of the position he has been put into as of late.
Only time will tell whether or not Jarnkrok and Kampf make the opening night roster.
