Toronto Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews is gearing up for a huge season, and with his love of charity work in mind, his latest move comes as no surprise.
Throughout the NHL season, and even the offseason, there are usually plenty of opportunities to contribute to charitable organizations, and Matthews is getting that chance very soon.
According to The Hockey News, the forward will be participating in the Hockey Night in Brampton charity game which takes place on August 20th.
