The first round playoff matchup between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators is set and as you can imagine, there is a lot of hype around Brady Tkachuk.
The battle of Ontario has been renewed and fans are gearing up for what should be a real doozy of a series between two franchises that don't like each other.
However, for the last three weeks now, the Senators have been without their captain Brady Tkachuk. This has led to some concerns about his availability.

According to Bruce Garrioch, fans of the Senators should quell those concerns. In fact, Tkachuk could very well be on the ice Thursday night for the team's final regular season game.
As for the playoffs on Sunday, he is expected to be a guarantee, which spells some real trouble for the Maple Leafs.
A decision on Brady Tkachuk (out since Mar. 30) is expected later today regarding his availability for the Sens' final game tomorrow. He's likely to be available to play, but that's still TBD.
He's expected to be ready for Game 1 on Sunday against the Leafs..
Even if the Leafs always knew Tkachuk would be ready, that does not make this series any less intimidating. Especially when you consider how the Sens have owned the Leafs this year.
The playoffs are always a new season and the regular season shouldn't be considered too much here. However, if you are a fan, it is definitely worrisome.
The hope is that the Leafs can make this the season where they prove they are real playoff contenders. People will not believe it until they see it.
Either way, this series is going to be a banger and the fans are in for a real treat moving forward.
