Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz ended last season unsatisfied with how things went down, and now, he is ready to get vengeance on the NHL.
If you remember, the goaltender was elbowed in the head by Sam Bennett, which forced him to come out of the playoffs permanently. Up until that point, he had been carrying the team.
We say that because his goalie coach George Bosak recently took to social media with some videos of Stolarz.
It was here where Bosak revealed that Stolarz has unfinished business and wants to win a Stanley Cup for the Maple Leafs.
Per George Bosak:
Anthony Stolarz has been looking very sharp in workouts. The first thing he said to me this summer is that there's unfinished business on the table. I know he is incredibly grateful for all the fan support in Toronto and is motivated to bring home a title for the Maple Leafs faithful.
If this is the energy that Stolarz is coming into the season with, then the Toronto Maple Leafs could be well on their way to a solid season.
The Maple Leafs will need to be carried by their goaltending this season, especially with their offense lacking in some key aspects.
Overall, we hope Stolarz continues to develop and proves the haters wrong this season.
