Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube held a team meeting this weekend ahead of their game against the Utah Hockey Club amid a three-game losing streak.

Berube understands his job is to fix things and that is exactly what he tried to do this weekend.
Craig Berube and the Toronto Maple Leafs try to figure it out
Numerous unnamed players spoke out during the meeting which reportedly took place directly after the loss to the Colorado Avalanche.
Head Coach Craig Berube, frustrated with the team's defensive mistakes and lack of focus as of late, held a team meeting after the Avalanche game to address their recent struggles. Some unnamed players also spoke up.
It remains to be seen whether or not this meeting actually had a profound effect on the players and their level of effort.
The stakes are very high for the Maple Leafs this season as they have suffered numerous first-round exits in the
Auston Matthews-
Mitch Marner era.
Typically, you want to play your best hockey at the end of the regular season and then carry that into the playoffs.
Unfortunately, the Maple Leafs are doing the opposite and Craig Berube's squad is running out of time to turn the tide.
As it stands, the Leafs are second in the Atlantic Division which would set them up for a first-round playoff series against the Tampa Bay Lightning. When you consider the changes the Lightning have made, you have to wonder if that is a winnable series.
