The Toronto Maple Leafs are a team that needs some speed right now, and there is a forward on the St. Louis Blues who would give them that immediately.

If you have been watching the Toronto Maple Leafs this season, you already know that they are extremely slow on their feet.
There is very little speed on this roster, and it is a huge reason why the team has been losing a lot of games to start the season.
Of course, things can change, but they are going to need a trade if they truly want to turn the tide. There are players available, and general manager Brad Treliving must get creative.
One player who has been talked about on the trade market is Jordan Kyrou of the St. Louis Blues. He consistently gets 70 points, but has struggled on a bad Blues team this season.

Toronto Maple Leafs could be a target for Jordan Kyrou

Recently, Jeff Marek made the argument that Jordan Kyrou's speed would prove to be the perfect fit for a team like the Leafs, who desperately need that injection.
There's one team out there that could really use him and his speed, but considering who the coach is, there's not a chance that's gonna happen, and that's Toronto. A team that looks so slow.
Trading for Kyrou would take a lot of resources from the Leafs. They don't have a ton of assets, and the Blues will keep that in mind.
Having said that, the Maple Leafs need to be aggressive. Getting Kyrou on the roster would be that aggressive move that makes fans happy.
There is no telling whether the Leafs will be able to fix things. This roster clearly isn't good enough to go on the run they did last season.
It's a tough pill to swallow, but this team is going to need to change if it wants to win.
