With a pair of games this weekend, the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to change some things up in their lineup and they used practice as a barometer.

If you have been paying attention over the last few weeks, you have probably noticed that Calle Jarnkrok is struggling quite a bit right now.
He missed most of the season with a sports hernia and now, he is back in the lineup looking to show people that he can still play at a high level.
In 15 games played, he has managed just one goal and five points while also being invisible during most nights. This has left some fans frustrated and some have even wondered if he would be benched.

However, today at practice, Jarnkrok was actually given a promotion of sorts as he found himself on the second line with John Tavares and William Nylander.
Bobby McMann had been dominant on the left wing on the second line, however, he was demoted down to the third line and reunited with Max Domi and Nick Robertson.
Meanwhile, Scott Laughton centered the fourth line with Pontus Holmberg and Steven Lorentz as his wingers. Needless to say, surprising stuff.

vs Habs tomorrow

Whether or not Jarnkrok plays on the second line tomorrow against the Montreal Canadiens remains to be seen.
The Leafs need to win games so that they can sure up the Atlantic Division and playing Jarnkrok that high up the lineup doesn't exactly scream "trying."
Either way, the fans will just need to trust Craig Berube's vision here. Hopefully, everything works out and goes according to plan.
