Toronto Maple Leafs Offer Redemption While Confirming Tonight's Starting Goalie Against the Rangers

Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs are playing against the New York Rangers, and with the team looking to get back above .500, their starting goalie will turn heads.
Anthony Stolarz had a great first start of the season against the Montreal Canadiens. Unfortunately, his next two starts against the Detroit Red Wings were a lot less fruitful.
He didn't play poorly in those games, although he was hung out to dry by his teammates. This made it difficult for him to keep pucks out of the net, and in the end, he lost two games in a row.
On Tuesday night, he watched backup
Cayden Primeau secure a win against the Nashville Predators, and we're sure this lit a fire in his belly.
Following these two bad games, head coach Craig Berube has decided to put Anthony Stolarz back in goal against the New York Rangers.
While there was never a doubt, it is still meaningful to have their starter back between the pipes tonight, as it will allow the team to play with confidence.
Stolarz is a great goaltender, and his performances over the past year have shown us that. Only time will tell whether or not he can get back in the win column.
Going into this game, he has a goals-against average of 3.05 and a save percentage of .886, but again, it's not really his fault.
Tonight, the Maple Leafs have a tough challenge ahead, but with Stolarz between the pipes, their chances are definitely greater.
