Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs are taking on the Florida Panthers in Game 7 and it seems like the NHL has put the Leafs in a very tough spot.
With the
Leafs and Panthers vying for a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals, there is a huge spotlight on tonight's game and we cannot wait to watch.
The Carolina Hurricanes are awaiting the winner of this series, and they have had quite a bit of time off after dispatching the Washington Capitals in just five games.
Toronto Maple Leafs Eastern Conference Finals schedule
Unfortunately for the Leafs and the Panthers, there will not be much time in between games 7 and 1 of the next round.
According to Chris Johnston, Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals will begin on Tuesday which means the Leafs would only have one day off if they end up winning this series.
The Eastern Conference Final begins on Tuesday: Carolina vs. Florida/Toronto
The Western Conference Final begins Wednesday: Edmonton vs. Dallas
This is the biggest game of the Leafs season and fans are going to be hoping and praying for a huge game.
While it may not be an easy one, the Leafs absolutely do have a chance which is great to see. However, they have to show up.
If they do what they did in Game 5, they will lose. But if they do what they did in Game 6, then a win is in the cards.
Leafs fans have suffered for decades but right now, they have a truly amazing chance at glory. Everyone just has to show up.
