Following the game, Matthews spoke to reporters, where he was asked about the team's big game and how they feel about pushing a Game 7.
However, he made something crystal clear, and this comment should leave fans feeling very good heading into tomorrow night. Quite simply, Matthews and the Leafs are not satisfied.
«The job's not done yet.»
These kinds of comments from Matthews were unfathomable just a few years ago, but now, he is showing why he was chosen to be the captain.

Well, given what we saw last night, perhaps this is true. But what matters is that the Core Four gets it done when it matters in Game 7.
A trip to the Eastern Conference Finals against the Carolina Hurricanes is on the line, and we can't help but feel like that would be a great matchup for this Leafs team.
