Bleacher Report recently put together a Quarter-Century Mount Rushmore for the Toronto Maple Leafs, and it has led to all sorts of discourse on social media.
Over the past 25 years, the Toronto Maple Leafs have had some superstars on the roster, and at times, it has been hard to say who the best truly is.
However, Bleacher Report recently came through with a piece that tried to condense the best of the Maple Leafs' century so far down to just four players.
They did this with the Maple Leafs' Quarter-Century Mount Rushmore, and as you can imagine, this article has been stirring up some debate among fans.

Below, you can see that the four players involved here are mostly forwards, and there are no goalies to be found, which is probably for the best.
The Leafs' single-season goal leader (69), Matthews is a three-time winner of the Maurice Richard Trophy and also won the Calder Memorial Trophy and the Hart Trophy. A Hall of Famer, Sundin is the franchise leader with 420 goals and 987 points.
Marner spent nine seasons with the Maple Leafs, sitting fourth in assists with 520 and fifth in points with 741. Rielly is seventh with 426 assists, ninth in games played with 873 and third among Leafs defensemen with 513 points.
For some, the inclusion of Marner feels like a slap in the face, given that he just left the team for the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
Auston Matthews and Mats Sundin make a whole lot of sense, although Morgan Rielly might just be the most debatable with his recent decline.
John Tavares is a player who could have very easily been placed on the list, as he has been a force for them over the last decade or so.
No matter what, the Toronto Maple Leafs have a lot to be excited about going into next season, regardless of how Bleacher Report ranks its players.
