Former Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Curtis Joseph recently participated in a charity game for Hockey Night in Brampton, and it actually led to some funny jokes.
Curtis Joseph is easily one of the most beloved goalies in the history of the Toronto Maple Leafs, thanks to his incredible talents and iconic nickname.
To this day, he is someone that Toronto Maple Leafs fans have quite a bit of fondness for, and we doubt that this is every going to change given his accomplishments.
CuJo has also remained a huge part of the Leafs community. He does charity work when he can, and he is always eager to talk about all things Leafs with various talk shows.
Recently, Joseph participated in the Hockey Night in Brampton charity game, which also featured the likes of Auston Matthews and Chris Tanev.

What made Joseph's appearance unique is the fact that he was not suited up as a goaltender for this special occasion. Instead, he decided to be a player.
This led to some jokes from the Toronto Maple Leafs social media account, which played into the infamous GTA 6 meme.

For those who may not know, Grand Theft Auto 6 is the upcoming video game from Rockstar. It has been in the making for 12 years now, as GTA 5 came out in 2013.
Online, it is common to take something that feels like it would never happen, and then say it happened before GTA 6. Clearly, the Leafs are tapped into online culture.
As for Curtis Joseph, he remains one of our favorites, and we hope he is having a happy retirement.
