Toronto Maple Leafs Receive Incredible News Right Before the NHL Playoffs

On Sunday, the
Toronto Maple Leafs will play the Ottawa Senators in Game 1 of their first-round series in the NHL Playoffs.
Going into this game, there were certainly some injury concerns as Jake McCabe, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, and David Kampf have been out of the lineup for some time.

However, during practice today, OEL and McCabe were back on the ice with their respective defensive pairs.
As for David Kampf, he was on the fifth line and it is uncertain whether or not he will be back on the fourth line come Sunday evening. Although for now, getting the defense right has been the biggest priority.

If you are a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, there is a lot to be excited about heading into the NHL playoffs as this team is on a five-game winning streak.
Overall, the Leafs are the best team in the Atlantic Division and they definitely deserve quite a bit of respect for that.
Unfortunately, they have been bad in the playoffs in recent years and fans always remember things like that. This season, the fans just want to see a deep run.
The Leafs have the pieces to do it. Now, those pieces just need to come together and show the hockey world that they are a capable franchise.
