Craig Berube watched stars like Mitch Marner and William Nylander take to the ice without a helmet on Thursday night which was certainly a bizarre scene.
However, on Thursday night, the Leafs played against the Detroit Red Wings in a 4-3 overtime win that had a lot of fans very excited.
That said, an incident during warmup is still on a lot of people's minds and it involves guys like Mitch Marner, William Nylander,
Max Domi, and
Chris Tanev.

As you can see below, all four of these guys decided that it would be a smart thing to do to not wear their helmets during warmup.
It is not something these guys do often and seemed to be a celebratory gesture if anything, although some were concerned for their safety.
"I have no clue because I don't watch warm-up, really, so I didn't know what was going on, and what was the money for? I don't know. It was about money, apparently.
"Yeah, I'm not sure on that one."
Warming up without a helmet is allowed but it definitely does come with some safety risks which is why some fans were not happy to see this from the team's stars.
However, there is a very good chance these guys put their helmets back on for the playoffs. After all, Berube doesn't seem enthusiastic about the bucketless aesthetic.
Tomorrow night, the Leafs will kick off their playoff journey against the Toronto Maple Leafs and we cannot wait to watch it all go down.
