Team Canada forward Connor McDavid is sending a message to Team USA as the two could potentially meet in the Championship Game of the 4 Nations Face-Off.
McDavid had a beautiful goal in the game on Saturday night but apart from that, his team could not get it going offensively.
However, after the game, the Edmonton Oilers captain had a very simply message for Team USA that should resonate with the rest of Canada's roster.
"There's a lot of great players out there. It was fast again, tight checking, competitive, emotional, it had everything you would want in a hockey game. Like I said, it sucks it didn't go our way, but this thing is far from over."
If you are a hockey fan, the 4 Nations Face-Off has been an absolute treat and last night's game was definitely an instant classic.
The Americans are feeling good about their chances, but this would not be the first time in which Canada lost to the U.S in a group stage only to beat them in the Gold Medal.
If Canada wanted to lose a game this tournament, they picked the right time to do it.
Now, they must run the table and when you have guys like Sidney Crosby, Nathan MacKinnon, and McDavid, you have to like your chances.
No matter what, this is going to be a phenomenal tournament that has made the NHL look like absolute geniuses.
