The Buffalo Sabres have currently lost 10 games in a row, and their most recent loss to the Maple Leafs appears to be the straw that has broken the fragile camel's back.
Today, it was reported by Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet that Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula was flying to Montreal to be with his team.
The Sabres are playing the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night, and the franchise is desperately looking for a way to stop the bleeding.
However, with the team playing so poorly, there is no telling what Pegula will have to say to both his players and his coaching staff.
After the loss last night, Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff spoke to the media, where he was absolutely beside himself about the loss.
Meanwhile, the Sabres had a team meeting today at the Bell Centre, and they even opted to just cancel their practice entirely.
With all of these latest moves and decisions, there is clearly something brewing in Buffalo right now, and it should be interesting to see how all of this plays out.
After 15 years of failure, something has to give, and these Sabres should be on the fast track to winning by now.
While some may want them to figure it out, there is no doubt that Toronto Maple Leafs fans wouldn't be too sad to see them continue to suffer.
