Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane was not happy last night after losing yet another Stanley Cup at the hands of the dominant dynastic Florida Panthers.
Evander Kane did not have himself a great Stanley Cup Finals. Although he had 12 points in 21 games, many of those points came earlier in the playoffs.
Last night, during Game 6, Evander Kane was kicked out of the game for very good reason. He got hit with a 10-minute misconduct, and with less than 10 minutes left to go in the game, he had to go back to the locker room.

Once the buzzer went off, the Oilers and the Panthers lined up for a handshake. This is where both teams show each other some mutual respect after a hard-fought series.
Unfortunately, Evander Kane did not get the memo. He opted not to participate in the handshake line, which, in the eyes of many, is a completely classless move.
In fact, numerous analysts and hockey accounts on X called out Kane for his behavior and his complete and utter lack of sportsmanship.
At the end of the day, no one should be surprised by the fact that Kane was upset about how last night's game turned out. There was no love lost between these two teams.
Overall, Kane and the Oilers will have to take the summer off to recoup and think about what the future is going to look like.
For the Oilers, getting a real goaltender is probably a good place to start right about now. Without a viable goaltender, this team is not going anywhere.
Only time will tell whether or not the Oilers can get back here and if
Connor McDavid can win that first Stanley Cup.
