You can't really blame the guy for wanting to do that. Of course, the Panthers are Stanley Cup contenders and will be for quite some time.
With Marchand and Sam Bennett back on the team, these Panthers have an amazing chance of scoring the first three-peat since the 80s New York Islanders.
If you are a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, this news will be disappointing, although it isn't final. There is always a chance Marchand changes his mind.
