Massive Update on Mitch Marner Being Traded to the Golden Knights Confirmed by Elliotte Friedman

The entire hockey world is paying attention to Toronto and Las Vegas today as there have been rumblings that Mitch Marner will be packaged in a sign-and-trade.

With confusion all over social media, Elliotte Friedman took to the FAN Hockey Show this morning, where he revealed the official status of trade talks.

As he explains, it is very likely that a trade gets done today, and that the Maple Leafs end up with center Nicolas Roy.

Friedman also went on to say that the Golden Knights are likely to sign Marner to a long-term deal, which goes against the recent reports that he would only sign for four years.

This has been a wild ride for Maple Leafs fans over the past few days. John Tavares and Matthew Knies have new contracts. Meanwhile, the team just traded for Matias Maccelli.

At this rate, the Leafs will have no more business to attend to if they keep making these massive moves.
