Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving has had to deal with a lot so far this season, including his goaltender, Anthony Stolarz, calling out the whole team.

Anthony Stolarz sparked a ton of controversy in Toronto this past weekend when he went off script and decided to take all of his teammates to task for their terrible play.
Overall, these callouts were very much deserved, and quite frankly, Stolarz could have said a whole lot worse.
Regardless, some felt that he should have been quiet. Even Craig Berube was uncomfortable with all of this, leaving the locker room and becoming public.
One person we hadn't heard from, however, was general manager Brad Treliving, who isn't giving quotes to the media on a daily basis.

In a new episode of Insider Trading, Pierre LeBrun made it clear that Treliving doesn't mind Stolarz's outburst and even embraces it.
He wants his plays to have emotion, and he understands that guys only say things like this because they are competitive and care about results.
He was frustrated after a loss. Emotion is good. He talked to his teammates, and we have competitive guys, so it's really not a big deal. It gets played in the media, and that gets blown out of proportion. It's nothing more than 'let's get going.' I like that our guys are competitive.
Going forward, the Toronto Maple Leafs are going to need to prove themselves, especially after two bad losses in a row.
Stolarz can't be given another reason to be upset, although we assume next time he will likely hold his tongue out of fear of consequences from his head coach.
Whatever the case may be, it has become clear that the Maple Leafs need to be better. If not, Treliving will have to make some serious changes.
