Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving has to make some very difficult decisions this offseason, and the same can be said for the team's ownership group.
Brad Treliving and Keith Pelley are two individuals who mean a lot to the Toronto Maple Leafs right about now. However, it is Pelley who wields all of the power.
According to some new reports from The Fourth Period, Pelley and Treliving have been in meetings since Sunday.
Now, Treliving is looking to hold a press conference with the media on Thursday morning, and it is here where we could get some insight into the team's offseason plans.
Leafs GM Brad Treliving has been meeting with MLSE President & CEO Keith Pelley - and others - since Sunday. He's scheduled to meet with the local media on Thursday at 10 a.m. ET.
Of course, the biggest question here will be whether or not the Leafs will be parting ways with Mitch Marner.
However, some may feel as though the elephant in the room is whether or not this press conference will speak to Brad Treliving's future with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
What is next for Brad Treliving and the Toronto Maple Leafs?
There were some who thought that Treliving's job with the Leafs was in jeopardy. However, that does not appear to be the case at this time.
Regardless, the Leafs do have a lot to think about this summer, and one can just imagine the stress that the front office is under.
Only time will tell whether or not Thursday brings forth more questions than answers.
