The Colorado Avalanche are doing Haikus on their social media, and their latest target was none other than the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have been waiting for a turn.
For instance, every day, they have been posting Haikus centered around a different NHL team. The admin has been working their way through the teams, and today, the
Toronto Maple Leafs were finally the target.
Some of these have been creative, while others have been duds. Unfortunately, the Leafs' one was a complete miss.
Colorado Avalanche make a haiku for the Toronto Maple Leafs
As you can see below, the Avalanche make fun of Toronto being called the Six, and how there is a lot of bad traffic in the city.
They also take aim at Tim Hortons' Roll-Up-The-Rim-To-Win campaign, which isn't even something that is exclusive to Toronto. Needless to say, this needed a lot of work.

Going into this season, the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Colorado Avalanche appear to be on even playing fields when it comes to championship aspirations.
Both teams will likely fall short, but will still be among the best in their division. Not to mention, they will be entertaining every night.
Overall, the Leafs are packed with talent, and the same can be said of the Colorado Avalanche.
Only time will tell how these two fair against one another during their two matchups this upcoming season.
