Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner played their hearts out last night in the final match of the 4 Nations Face-Off.
In the end, it was Canada who came away victorious as Marner passed the puck to Connor McDavid who sniped home the game-winner.
However, the Maple Leafs players now have to snap back to reality as the NHL is back in action starting tomorrow night.
On Saturday, the Maple Leafs are in action against the Carolina Hurricanes and on Sunday, they have to play the Chicago Blackhawks.
This is going to be pretty taxing on guys like Matthews and Marner although as Craig Berube revealed, these guys are going to play.
The Leafs are currently battling for the top seed in the Atlantic Division, so they have no choice but to compete right now.
They are battling against none other than the Florida Panthers and with the Matthew Tkachuk injury, the Leafs have a great shot to steal that number one seed.
Of course, it is not going to be easy, but perhaps the 4 Nations Face-Off experience has taught these guys how to win.
No matter what, the final stretch of this season for the Leafs is going to be absolutely fascinating.
