Overall, there are some big questions that need to be answered in the offseason. Chief among them: should Mitch Marner and John Tavares come back?
Berube was asked this question by reporters. Some may find a question like this to be a bit unfair, all things considered.

Given both of these players' failures in the playoffs, it might be for the best if the team just lets them go entirely.
However, there is still a lot to be determined. If the price comes down on these guys, then perhaps a reunion is possible. If the price is too high, then they are likely gone.
It is a harsh business, but that is what comes with it. No matter what, these guys will be making millions next year, so they can't be too mad.
