NHL Analyst Reveals Where Mitch Marner is Probably Signing in Free Agency

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner has not been good for the franchise in the postseason, and with free agency coming up, many are assuming that he's gone.
Mitch Marner is a great player in the regular season, but once the playoffs come around, he goes ghost. It is something that has been true his entire career, and the fans are sick of it.
Now, Marner is looking for a new contract, and there are all sorts of rumors going around that the Leafs are simply not interested in bringing him back.
Furthermore, there have been rumblings that the feeling from Marner is mutual, and that he will be looking elsewhere once July 1st hits.
Where is Mitch Marner going in Free Agency?
According to Panos Mavridis of Puck Empire, there is a long list of teams that are interested in Marner. This should come as no surprise, considering he had 100 points this past season.
However, at the top of his list are none other than the Chicago Blackhawks. Overall, the Blackhawks are a rebuilding team that could use a solid winger who could help dish passes to Connor Bedard.
Whether or not the Blackhawks are interested still remains to be seen. What we do know for sure, however, is that they have the cap space to make it happen.
Mavridis had some interesting insights in his piece, noting that the Utah Mammoth would also be a solid location for Mitch Marner.
Furthermore, the Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings, and Minnesota Wild were also floated around as viable options.
We have reached a point where the Maple Leafs are unlikely to re-sign Marner, and the fanbase is completely okay with that.
It is a sad reality, albeit one that a lot of fans are just going to have to accept moving forward.
