Craig Berube Reveals Why Max Pacioretty Isn't in the Toronto Maple Leafs Lineup Despite Being Healthy

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Pacioretty is finally healthy, however, as per Craig Berube, he is not going to be in the lineup to start the NHL Playoffs.
Throughout the season, Max Pacioretty has had to deal with a plethora of injuries and it has certainly made things very difficult for the forward.
Over the last few weeks, he has been practicing with the team again which has been nice to see. However, he still hasn't gotten into the lineup.
The same can be said for David Kampf, who has missed less time, but did miss the final couple of weeks after sustaining an injury against the Florida Panthers.

Earlier today, the Maple Leafs unveiled their lineup for Game 1 against the Ottawa Senators which is set to go down tonight.
Pacioretty and Kampf were both missing from the lineup and head coach Craig Berube explained why. Essentially, he doesn't want to ruin a good thing.

Overall, this is a very good explanation and if you are a Maple Leafs fan, you have to agree with what Berube is saying right now.
The team has won 13 of its last 16 games. That is not something you want to tinker with at this point in the season. You have to keep your foot on the gas.
Hopefully, this current lineup continues to showcase its immense talent. They have been dominating teams and fans want to see that continue by any means necessary.
The NHL Playoffs are always an amazing time and with the Battle of Ontario renewed, it is clear that we are in for a real treat of epic proportions.
