Darren Dreger Warns of "Wild" Times Ahead for the Toronto Maple Leafs

NHL insider Darren Dreger was recently speaking on the upcoming offseason, and his most recent warning goes for the Toronto Maple Leafs and many others.
Free agency is on the horizon, and the Toronto Maple Leafs are one of the many teams that are going to have to make a big move; otherwise, they could fall behind.
After all, Mitch Marner is thinking of leaving, and if he does, that is 102 points worth of production that is going to have to be replaced, and that is no easy task.
Overall, the Toronto Maple Leafs have some options, but they have yet to do anything. They haven't completed a trade, and they also haven't signed pending free agents like Matthew Knies and John Tavares.

However, it would appear as though the Leafs are waiting for the Stanley Cup Finals to finish up. This is no longer an assumption. Instead, Darren Dreger has seemingly confirmed it.
While on TSN 1050, Dreger exclaimed that the period between the Stanley Cup Finals' conclusion and July 1st will be incredibly active. One can imagine that the Leafs wll be a major part of that.

Ultimately, there is a lot that the Toronto Maple Leafs need to think about going forward. Namely, what will their bottom six look like, and who will the Leafs acquire to replace Marner?
Bryan Rust of the Pittsburgh Penguins appears to be available right now, which could very well be a solid avenue for the Leafs to go down, going forward.
Meanwhile, Sam Bennet and Brad Marchand are some of the other players that the Leafs would be interested in acquiring.
At this point, the Leafs have a ton of options at their fingertips. However, they must execute; otherwise, other teams will scoop up all of the talent.
