Easton Cowan's Latest Comments Confirm His Future with the Toronto Maple Leafs

Toronto Maple Leafs rookie Easton Cowan is having a fantastic start to the season, and it appears as though he is eager to have his rookie season continue.
Easton Cowan is fresh off the first two games of his Toronto Maple Leafs career, and there is no denying that there is a lot of hype around the kid.
In both of his first two games, he got to play on the first line with Auston Matthews and Matthew Knies, who aren't the easiest guys to play with if you're new.
However, he has helped propel the line to some new heights, and he even got his first assist on Tuesday against the Nashville Predators.
Easton Cowan loves the Toronto Maple Leafs
With this assist, Cowan was able to earn himself the belt at the end of the game, a customary award given to a player who helped the team win.
Following the game, the rookie took to his Instagram account, where he simply wrote, "love this place," cementing where he wants to be for the foreseeable future.
Given how the fans have responded to him in the first two games of his career, it is clear that the feeling is very much mutual at this point.
Whether or not Cowan remains on the first line remains to be seen. However, there is no denying that he has made a solid case for himself here.
The Maple Leafs are a team that needs stability on their first line, and if Cowan continues to play well, then that stability will be a given.
For now, the Leafs will just need to continue nurturing his development. There is no telling what kind of heights he can reach in the future.
That said, if he remains on the first line, it will be a huge triumph for the kid.
