London Knights forward Easton Cowan is currently dealing with an injury, and as it turns out, an official diagnosis has been given, and it bodes well for the star.
Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Easton Cowan is a player who has superstar potential, and fans are very excited to see what he can do with the team going forward.
Recently, Easton Cowan broke the unofficial OHL point streak record and it was a huge moment for the kid.
He revealed that he would attend but he would not participate. Now, a real update on his condition has finally been revealed.
Easton Cowan is concussion free
According to Joshua Kloke of The Athletic, Easton Cowan is not suffering from any sort of concussion.
Instead, he is simply dealing with the aftermath of whiplash. Whiplash can be pretty bad, but it seems like Team Canada fully expects Cowan to be ready to go by the time the tournament starts.
On Easton Cowan: It sounds like whiplash is the injury. There is no concussion diagnosis and no concern right now that the Maple Leafs prospect will miss the world juniors.
When people hear whiplash, they usually think about car crashes and the strain on one's neck.
Sometimes, an open ice hit can be so hard that something like whiplash occurs. It is certainly scary, but Easton Cowan is a warrior.
Only time will tell what kind of tournament Cowan ends up having as his fairytale season continues.
