Mitch Marner and the Toronto Maple Leafs are no longer in partnership with one another. Instead, the superstar forward is a member of the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
It was a separation that a lot of fans saw coming, although it still stings. At the end of the day, Marner was a hometown kid who should have retired as a Leaf.
To add insult to injury, Marner has had some less-than-complimentary words for Maple Leafs fans as of late. For instance, he accused them of harassment and doxxing his family.
