Florida Panthers Continue to Troll the Toronto Maple Leafs Weeks After Second-Round Win

In order to get the fans amped up for the occasion, the Panthers have placed towels on the back of every single seat. These towels say "Rats Rule," and they contain some iconography that will upset Toronto Maple Leafs fans.

In fact, the iconography here will even upset fans of the Carolina Hurricanes and the Tampa Bay Lightning. If you look closely at the towel, the logos of all three teams become apparent.

Of course, the Panthers are trying to pay homage to this postseason run and the teams they had to beat to get where they are now. But if you are a Leafs fan, this still stings.

That Game 7 in the second round was an absolute embarrassment, and it is one that has had major implications on the future of the Leafs.

Some big changes could be coming this offseason, and had it not been for this loss, they never would have happened. It just goes to show how fragile the NHL can be at times.
