Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll is embarking on a conditioning stint with the Toronto Marlies, and his road to recovery officially begins tonight.
This is great news for the Maple Leafs organization, as
Anthony Stolarz has had to carry the workload, and the man is getting tired.
However, it was made clear that before Woll could get a start, he would have to put in some time with the Toronto Marlies.
Once he gets a couple of games in with the AHL affiliate, he can return to the Toronto Maple Leafs and showcase what he is really capable of.

Well, tonight, Woll finally got his chance as he is the starting goalie against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. According to Elliotte Friedman, he may not play the entire game.
Of course, the Leafs are playing the Boston Bruins tonight, although they may just pay attention to this otherwise meaningless AHL game in November.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are going to be excited to have Woll back, as they can finally get their goaltending rotation back on track.
Stolarz has been struggling at times to start the season. His workload is heavy, and not having Woll around has been a struggle.
Once the netminder returns, the Leafs will have one of the best tandems in the league. They will also be able to get an injection of energy and vibes.
We are wishing Woll the best of luck as he looks to take the Leafs to the promised land.
