Jack Roslovic Has Two New NHL Suitors: Are the Toronto Maple Leafs Still in the Mix?

Free agent forward Jack Roslovic is currently looking for an NHL job, and as it turns out, it has been a lot harder for him to find one than anyone truly expected.
Jack Roslovic is a player that a lot of Toronto Maple Leafs fans have been thinking about as of late, especially since he has yet to sign a professional contract.
Overall, Roslovic is good enough to play for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Unfortunately, there just isn't a lot of space for him on the team right now.
In fact, the entire NHL has been allowing Roslovic to go jobless. He priced himself out of the market, and with the regular season officially underway, it seems like the forward's options are few and far between.
Is Jack Roslovic still a target for the Toronto Maple Leafs
According to Chris Johnston, there may just be some reprieve here. As it turns out, teams like the Columbus Blue Jackets and Minnesota Wild are in need of a guy like Roslovic.
With the forward continuing to work out, Johnston believes "it's only a matter of time" before the forward gets picked up.
A few teams are already looking for forwards, Minnesota Wild; Blue Jackets; maybe it's one of those teams or someone else that comes calling, but it's only a matter of time
At the end of the day, the Toronto Maple Leafs seem to be fully out on Roslovic, even if he could have been a great option for them.
If they get stuck putting Scott Laughton on LTIR, then perhaps Roslovic could be a low-cost option. For now, however, he is likely to go somewhere else.
Considering the fact that he had 22 goals last season, we do expect him to find an NHL home sooner rather than later.
Only time will tell whether or not other NHL teams see the potential and make a deal.
