Tonight, the

According to Mark Masters, Easton Cowan stayed out for some extra time. This means that he will not be in the lineup.
It was also revealed that Sammy Blais and
Philippe Myers will be scratches as well, although this was expected as they are the 13th forward and 7th defenseman respectively.

Sammy Blais and Philippe Myers are the other projected healthy scratches tonight
If you are a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, you should have some solace in the fact that Easton Cowan will crack the lineup eventually.
He is already on the Leafs roster, which was never a guarantee when training camp started. Now, he has a real chance to become a regular.
As the week goes on, things could change. If Nick Robertson or
Calle Jarnkrok has a bad showing, then expect Cowan to be in the lineup.
Hopefully, the Leafs can figure things out here and continue grinding as the season goes on.
